Hi all,

I have very fond memories of Void 1.1 and remember the excitement I experienced when I bought my first box of tactical androsynths and got a free rule book with the box! I also remember meeting the design team at my local shop and using the Viridian army featured in the rulebook during a battle. So it is with these fond memories that I have come back to Void to begin a new project. Hopefully, it might inspire some people at my local club in Wolverhampton to give the game a go ( you never know, it may tear them away from the drudgery of 40k!)

Anywho, I've begun by attacking the awful plastic Junker legionaries. I'm hoping that with a little extra work and some crafty bits sourcing, I can mass produce decent looking squads of legionaries, grenadiers and lancers to match the beautiful metal sculpts. Here's the progress I have made so far on 3 grenadiers.

I have selected grenades and pouches from the Imperial guard Cadians range and a metal head from Pig Iron Productions. I've used green stuff to sculpt the face mask and create the tubes on the torso. I'll also be using green stuff to create a neural spike and some dreadlock hair for the bareheaded guy. I'll be building this unit up to 8 strong, using the 2 metal sculpts already available. For the remaining three to build, I'll do something about the very static leg poses, which will require quite a bit of extra work. I hope it'll be worth it!!!

Hard to say at this moment, last year was a bit crazy for us, a lot of reorganisation etc. Void range is next in line for it. No plan for new sculpts but we're going to re-release few discontinued models,

We got FB page for Scotia:

and Urban War:

To complete the Achaemenid range with the Sparabaras was a great idea ! And a beautiful work regarding what did John on Facebook.

Glad to hear that you like them!  ;D

Have you ever thougt of Biblical age ? How this forum is right : http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=85157.0, there is no quality range for this period. And the Hittite-Egyptian New Kingdom opposition is a very classic for the gamers. Beautiful chariots would reload this !

We will see, is too early to say at this moment. First we want to focus on Marian Romans and Persians and more regular releases.

Would you consider medieval range too ?

I don't thinks so,

Cheers,
Sebastian

I just found that the Dreadball hex bases (I have a few) are 25mm. Pretty lightweight, but might be OK for the Alpha Helions. Mantic do 24 for 3: http://www.manticgames.com/mantic-shop/dreadball/accessories/product/mantic-hex-bases-bundle-24.html

Still tempted to do this with the Helions on hex bases... Perhaps this year!?  :P

Short notice, but I have a free Monday on Monday (9th Jan).  Are you up for some Kryomek action?  I can bring 1 Talos, 1 Cyclo and 1 Kryomek Warrior (all I have left of my collection!).

The next Monday I have free is 13th Feb, but it might not be free for long as it's just before my birthday, so my wife might want to plan something.  Then I might be able to make it down after my German evening class finishes, which will be April 3rd, all going well.

Was introduced to Void when it came out in the start of the millennia. But only now started to appreciate how god system it is., and how fresh the miniatures are.
So a question for the people at Scottie Grendel. Is there eany plans to take void somewhere with maybe some new miniatures. Myself would think resculpting some less well miniatures like syntha assault terratosynt as a grate thing in these modern days of 3d printing. Or a FB page , maybe.

We also have other miniatures games on the go; FoW, a few of us are working on Team Yankee armies, Fantasy Warriors, Hammerin' Iron.

Plus boardgames of all sorts of vintages.
